Interior Design – No Rules, Done Right

In this video moment, LA-based interior designer Jeff Andrews gives us a guided tour of his east coast home away from home. First things first, however; let’s talk location. Ah yes, the location. At 15 West 53rd Street in Manhattan, Mr. Andrews’ gorgeous home sits just steps away from New York’s Museum of Modern Art — That’s right, MoMA. Need I say more? I think I might.

I feel I should go on about the 1950′s lounge chairs, reworked and revived using vintage Gucci luggage fabric. Or the thrift store table that adds an eclectic touch to this well-organized interior design. But I know you’re about to click play on the video, so …

Jeff Andrews proves that he can bring quite a bit of visual interest to even rather modestly-sized spaces. In his main living space, Jeff creates harmony & warmth by mixing shapes, styles and periods with dramatically dark, chocolate brown walls. Sprinkle in a few smoky colors and mirrors, and behold the magic, making the room look and feel surprisingly spacious.
