The Scoop | When Stanford-trained lawyer, Shahid Buttar, isn’t roaming the halls of Capitol Hill, city halls, and knowledge centers across the country, speaking about the erosion of civil liberties caused by the war on terror, Mr. Buttar engages in one of his other passions — music. Making his way around the San Francisco and DC underground electronica scenes, Shahid grabs the mic, dropping intellectual lyrics alongside DJs spinning everything from deep house, to acid breaks, to old-school hip-hop. Represent!
